The Colorful Hat Circus & Variety at Pilgrimage Festival 2023

On Sunday, September 24, 2023, The Colorful Hat Circus & Variety took to the “Family Fun Farm” stage at the Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, Tennessee — joining one of the South’s most beloved music and cultural gatherings.

Headline Stage shows featured Magic and Circus Arts Duo Nathan Kepner and Morgan Tsu-Raun, presenting their award-winning blend of magic, hooping, and acrobatic circus arts — the very acts that have taken them to The Tonight Show and the prestigious Magic Circle Theatre in London. World Champion Juggler Zak McAllister lit up the stage with his high-energy, one-of-a-kind juggling performances. Between sets, additional Colorful Hat performers filled the festival area with strolling entertainment, including magic, juggling, hooping, plate spinning, and more.

The 2023 Pilgrimage Festival featured an outstanding music lineup, with performances from The Lumineers, The Black Crowes, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and country powerhouse Zach Bryan.

Pilgrimage’s “Fun Farm” concept has long been part of the festival’s commitment to family-friendly entertainment — blending live music, artisan marketplaces, food vendors, and kids’ activities for a full weekend of culture.
